What is Scottsdale’s Cure Corridor?
The Scottsdale Cure Corridor is a local partnership of 50+ healthcare innovators. They collaborate via education, research, clinical trials and patient care. Providers, tech, pharma, and bioscience ally to fast-track delivery of life-saving solutions with local and global impact.
The Geocentric Advantage
The Cure Corridor works by connecting local access points to speed breakthroughs — between companies and their talent, healthcare providers and patients. Three big Scottsdale employers include Mayo Clinic, CVS Health, and HonorHealth.

The Cure Corridor’s T-Bone Steak Shape
A T-bone steak contour where cattle once roamed? Yep. A hungry city official may have stretched to name the shape of the Cure Corridor. What can I say? Our city likes its corridors.
Start at Mayo Clinic at 136th Street and Shea Blvd. Head west on Shea. And then it gets complex. The point?
Cutting-edge healthcare firms connect on the map and through their networks to form the Cure Corridor — from Mayo Clinic, to the Airpark, ASU’s Innovation Campus, and many points in-between.

Boon to Jobs and Growth
The Cure Corridor is staffed by 16,000+ employees, with an average salary in 2019 of ~ $68,000. In Scottsdale the rate of healthcare jobs grew 2 times the national rate from 2016-2019. And it continues to expand rapidly.
One-third of regional healthcare venture capital deals in the last 5 years were with Scottsdale-based companies. We’ve always been the place to take the cure. Where people once came to recover from ailments like TB, allergies, and arthritis — racing for cures today is a natural part of our healing legacy. As the 9th healthiest US city, the Scottsdale Cure Corridor makes perfect sense.
How does harnessing Scottsdale’s strong healthcare footprint into bigger opportunities happen? By uniting around issues via open forums. And, leveraging brain power to find new solutions. This forges healthy growth for our city we can all feel good about.
