Please Remember

Weapons may only be carried in accordance with state law

Park in designated areas only

Horses prohibited in parks, except on equestrian trails  or where posted

Boats must be registered and are limited to sailboats, rowboats, canoes, or boat with electric motors.  Chaparral & McKellips Lakes

Urban Fishing License required for 9 years or older (Park Signs say 14 years), Chaparral & Eldorado Lakes

State Fishing License required for 14 years+ at all other City lakes

Model boats may be operated only in McKellips Lake and Indian School Park, between 9 AM & Sunset

The Following Are Prohibited

Littering in park & possession of glass bottles

Alcohol

Discharging of firearms

Golfing & Archery

Model rockets, gas-powered model airplanes

Feeding, harming, removing or releasing animals in the park

Motorized vehicles (except in designated areas)

Overnight parking & vehicle repair

Open fires

Swimming, wading (including to retrieve golf discs) & bathing in lakes or waterways

Damaging park property, includiing lakes

To consume or possess beer in an open container

To reserve park areas or facilities

For use of specialty items:  Inflatables, vendors, caterers, etc.
