With temps dropping in October, tennis and pickleball get into full swing. Those who can take the summer heat hit the courts early or a night, year round.
Here are your many options to play both sports.
Public Tennis Courts
Like all assets provided by Scottsdale Parks and Rec, its top-seeded tennis facilities and programs are exceptional.
The City provides two outstanding public Tennis Centers and courts are also available at most of its 40+ parks.
Scottsdale Ranch Park Tennis Center is located Centrally:
Named an Outstanding Public Tennis Facility for 2019 by the USTA, it has 18 newly rebuilt LED-lighted hard courts, with blended lines for junior play and instruction. It offers Junior tennis based on USTA’s Net Generation program.
Scottsdale Ranch Tennis Center offers pro amenities, including free USTA ratings, adult tennis leagues & lessons, tournaments and more. They even offer racquetball and squash.
Scottsdale Ranch Park Tennis Center
And, Indian School Park Tennis Center is located at Indian School Park near the Downtown|Old Town areas.
It’s named a ‘Southwest Section Member Organization of the Year’ by the USTA. And it has 13 newly rebuilt LED-lighted tennis courts, plus 4 LED-lighted racquetball courts.
Indian School Park Tennis Center provides many programs. They include adult tennis leagues, cardio tennis classes, lessons, ball machine rentals and more.

Public Pickleball Courts
Four (4) Scottsdale neighborhood parks offer Pickleball through the City’s Parks|Rec. All courts are FREE, outdoor, lighted, and first come, first served. No reservations required!
Courts are open from sunrise to 10:30PM, with a host of lessons and leagues for beginner and intermediate players.
